Full job description The Role
As the school’s new DT Teacher, you’ll deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 within one or more DT specialisms (e.g., Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, or Food Technology). The department is well-resourced, forward-thinking, and supported by strong leadership.You’ll be expected to:
*Plan and deliver engaging DT lessons that inspire creativity and problem-solving
*Assess and track pupil progress in line with school policies
*Maintain a safe workshop environment, ensuring compliance with H&S standards
*Contribute to the wider school community and department development

What You’ll Need
*QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
*Experience teaching DT at secondary level
*Strong subject knowledge and workshop confidence
