Work Pattern: 21 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 per annum (Based on 35 hours full time)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Assessment Worker to join a specialist support service.
This important role involves engaging with individuals affected by domestic abuse, completing high-quality risk and needs assessments, and ensuring survivors are connected to the most appropriate support services to enhance safety and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
*Provide quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse.
*Conducting comprehensive risk and needs assessments
*Providing immediate emotional and practical support
*Developing safety and support plans
*Provide a triage service for clients waiting to move onto the community support.
*Working collaboratively with partner agencies
*Maintaining accurate and confidential case records
*Supporting safeguarding processes and referrals
We are looking for someone who:
*Has experience working with vulnerable individuals or within support services
*Understands the dynamics and impact of domestic abuse
*Has strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills
*Can manage sensitive situations professionally and empathetically
*Is committed to empowerment, equality, and survivor-focused practice
