Job Description:
Warehouse Administrator Location: Barrow-In-Furness
Hours: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Department: Warehousing & Distribution
Reporting to: Warehouse & Distribution Manager
About the RoleWe’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Warehouse Administrator to join our fast-paced Warehousing & Distribution team.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll be at the heart of day-to-day operations - ensuring all warehouse documentation, transport bookings, and customer communications are handled accurately and efficiently. You’ll play a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly while also supporting practical warehouse activities when required.

Key Responsibilities*Co-ordinate transport and delivery bookings efficiently
*Prepare and issue transport documentation, including customs paperwork
*Maintain accurate records and produce reports to support operations
*Ensure all administrative tasks are completed on time and correctly filed
*Keep work instructions accurate and up to date
*Identify and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions
*Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
*Provide support via phone and email with a professional approach
*Assist with warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and rework when needed
*Provide administrative support to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager
*Contribute ideas for continuous improvement
*Maintain high standards of housekeeping
*Uphold company values, policies, and procedures
