The RoleOur client is seeking a driven and motivated Recruitment Consultant to join their busy construction desk, focusing on blue collar roles including labourers, groundworkers, tradespeople, and site staff.
This is a fast-paced, sales-driven position combining business development, candidate sourcing, and account management.
Key Responsibilities*Sourcing and placing blue collar construction workers into temporary and permanent roles
*Developing new business through outbound calls, client visits, and networking
*Managing and growing existing client relationships
*Writing job adverts, screening, and interviewing candidates
*Filling vacancies efficiently to meet client requirements
*Building strong relationships with both clients and candidates
*Managing bookings, compliance, and worker availability
*Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly targets
Requirements*Minimum 2 years’ experience within the construction sector (essential)
*Previous recruitment or sales experience (highly advantageous)
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Motivated, resilient, and ambitious
*Full UK driving licence preferred
