£30,000 - £35,000 + Car/Allowance
Strong in sales, but looking for a new challenge in horticulture?
Interested in horticulture and wanting to learn the products in detail?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, ornamental nursery with a loyal customer base and a reputation for quality and service.
They’re open to someone coming from a sales background, whether that’s horticultural sundries, produce, agriculture, or a related sector, as long as you’ve got a genuine interest in plants and the willingness to learn.

What’s the job?
You’ll join the office-based sales team, managing customer enquiries while working closely with the Sales Manager to support existing accounts and develop new opportunities.
This is not solely a cold-calling role. You’ll inherit customers, whilst having a focus on building new, strong, long-term relationships.
Day to day, you’ll be:
*Handling enquiries and preparing quotations
*Managing orders through to delivery
*Acting as the main point of contact for customers
*Building relationships and developing existing accounts
*Supporting targeted business development activity
*Learning the product range, seasonality and stock availability
*Visiting key customers to understand their needs
*Attending trade shows
*Working closely with production and dispatch teams to ensure smooth delivery
What do I need?
*Experience in a sales or account management role
*A genuine interest in horticulture and a willingness to learn about plants
*Experience in a similar or transferable industry
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Commercial mindset and proactive approach
*Full UK driving licence
