We are seeking a qualified Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Bolton. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality drama education to students, fostering a creative learning environment, and contributing to the school’s extracurricular activities.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging drama lessons aligned with the curriculum.
*Inspire students to appreciate and excel in drama.
*Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for qualifications and future careers in the arts.
*Direct school plays and productions, coordinating rehearsals and managing performance events.
*Collaborate with other teachers to integrate drama across the curriculum.
*Participate in and organise school events and activities related to the arts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Drama or related subjects.
*Experience teaching drama at secondary school level.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Passion for drama and education.
*Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
*Experience in directing plays and managing performances is highly desirable.
