Role OverviewWe’re seeking a Commercial Director (M&E) to lead commercial strategy, drive profitability, and strengthen client relationships for a major building services contractor based in London. Key Responsibilities*Commercial Leadership - Own the commercial strategy across all M&E projects, ensuring robust governance, risk management, and margin protection.
*Contract Management - Lead negotiation and administration of NEC/JCT contracts, ensuring compliance and commercial clarity.
*Business Growth - Identify new revenue opportunities, support bids, and strengthen market positioning.
*Financial Oversight - Oversee cost planning, forecasting, and commercial reporting to board level.
*Team Leadership - Mentor and develop a high-performing commercial team across pre-construction and delivery.
*Stakeholder Engagement - Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal delivery teams.
About You*Proven experience as a senior commercial leader within the M&E contracting or building services sector.
*Strong understanding of NEC/JCT contract frameworks.
*Demonstrable success in profit optimisation, risk management, and commercial governance.
*Confident communicator with the ability to influence at board level.
*Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to delivery.
Package*£100,000-£120,000 base salary
