Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Cashier to join a professional and friendly law firm based in Southend.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of client and office accounts, ensuring full compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing client and office account transactions
*Bank reconciliations and daily banking
*Managing invoices, payments, and transfers
*Handling CHAPS/BACS payments
*Maintaining accurate accounting records
*Supporting fee earners with financial queries
*Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
Requirements
*Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm
*Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Experience using legal accounting software
*Professional and reliable approach
Salary
£26,000 – £30,000 DOE
