The Role
As Management Accountant, you will take responsibility for producing management accounts across a number of entities within a growing group structure. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, while also gaining exposure to senior finance leadership including the Finance Director and Financial Controller.
Duties & Responsibilities
*Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities
*Month-end close activities including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
*Provide financial analysis, variance commentary and performance reporting
*Partner with operational and head office teams to deliver meaningful financial insight
*Maintain and develop reporting using accounting systems and advanced Excel
*Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the group
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
About You
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Previous experience within a management accounting role, ideally in a multi-entity environment
*Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
*Able to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
*Confident communicator, able to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
*Proactive approach with an interest in improving processes and adding value
