Full job descriptionA high growth Private Equity backed business is looking for a recently qualified Management Accountant to join their team in a newly created role.
Responsibilities
*Support the delivery of the monthly finance close process, ensuring reporting deadline are achieved in line with Group timetable.
*Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities, ensuring strong financial control and integrity of financial data.
*Deliver detailed cost analysis and cost review reporting across multiple site / brand environment.
*Partner with operational stakeholders to provide meaningful insight and support on department cost performance and outcome (examples being fleet and premises).
*Partner with operational leaders across sales, lettings, property management, and support functions to provide financial insight.
*Acquisition – support acquisition integration activity including finance process alignment, balance sheet and cost base inheritance.
*Assist with procurement and supplier cost review work across multiple spend categories.
*Support Budgeting, forecasting, and adhoc financial analysis as required.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.


Profile
*Strong experience supporting month end management account processes.
*Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills with strong attention to detail.
*Comfortable working in changing or acquisitive business environment.
*Hands on pragmatic approach to work in such environment.
*Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Skills & Experience
*Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
*Strong understanding of cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet controls.
*Advanced Excel and strong financial systems capability.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner non-finance stakeholders.
*Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
