Job Description:
Full job descriptionTotum Partners is working with an international Law firm to recruit 2 Group Finance Business Analysts. These roles can be back in London, Birmingham or Manchester, and the employer is looking for part-qualified candidates currently working in Legal or Professional Services/LLP firms with some commercial finance experience, and strong communication/stakeholder management skills for a business-facing analytical role.
Group Finance Business Analyst Responsibilities:
*Support 2 fee-earning Practice Groups, providing financial analysis and insights to monitor financial health and inform strategic decision-making
*Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare management reports and commentary
*Presentation of analysis and reports to Partners and other senior (financial and non-financial) stakeholders
*Preparation of budgets and forecasts
*Profitability and utilisation analysis and reporting
*Provide assistance with pricing queries and analysis
*Implement process improvements and automations to streamline efficiency
Group Finance Business Analyst Experience:
*APPLICANTS MUST BE CURRENTLY WORKING IN A LEGAL OR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES/LLP ENVIRONMENT
*Part ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
*Evidence of strong financial analytical experience
*Prior business partnering/commercial finance experience is highly desirable
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
