Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting an electronics business in Sheffield who is looking for a Operations Director to join their growing team.
The RoleThis is a key leadership role focused on driving operational performance, guiding products from initial development through to full-scale production, supporting the company’s growth plans, and continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of site operations.

Key responsibilities include:
*Work cross functionally to manage the full product lifecycle
*Leading capacity planning to align with forecasted demand
*Building scalable processes to support new products and higher volumes
*Leading and developing multidisciplined teams
*Owning S&OP processes and collaborating on demand forecasting
*Driving operational readiness for new product introductions
*Improving and identifying cost reduction opportunities
*Managing supply chain risk and ensuring compliance with quality standards
The PersonWe are keen to speak with Operation Directors with the following:
*Knowledge of electronics manufacturing
*Experience scaling from NPI to high volume production
*Familiarity with yield management, capacity planning and ERP or MRP systems
*Confident leadership skills with the ability to build and mentor teams
*A data led approach and strong cross functional communication
*Ability to operate in a high growth environment with evolving priorities
