We are currently recruiting for an experienced External Contracts Manager to join a busy Property Care team within a leading Housing Association.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and contractor management experience to take ownership of a major roofing programme alongside a range of externally delivered maintenance contracts including windows, doors, roofing and external works projects.
The Role
*Managing externally sourced maintenance and refurbishment contracts
*Overseeing roofing replacement programmes and specialist external works
*Ensuring contractors deliver works to agreed quality, budget and timescales
*Building strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders while driving service improvements
*Monitoring financial, contractual and compliance performance
*Managing specialist maintenance projects requiring technical expertise
*Attending sites, contractor meetings and office collaboration days across the region
About You
*Experience working within a Housing Association or social housing environment
*Strong technical understanding of property maintenance and external works
*Experience managing contractors, programmes and project delivery
*Confident challenging performance and driving continuous improvement
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
*Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region
Locations
