Taskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Recycling Operative to work for our client based at their site near Huntingdon.
Duties will include:
*Sorting household and commercial waste from a pick line into plastic, wood, brick, metals.
*Use machinery to feed recycling waste for processing.
*Inspect materials for any contaminations.
*Clean and maintain equipment.
*Meet the requirements of audits and cleaning specifications.
*Ensure the correct protective equipment is correctly worn at all times.
*Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety.
Desirable skills and attributes:
*Being physically fit for this role is essential.
*Able to use own initiative.
*Must be able to work with noise and dust.
*Organised and able to manage their own time effectively.
*Follow health and safety rules.
*Works harmoniously with others to get the job done.
Temporary to permanent job for the right candidate.
Shift: Monday to Friday: 07.00 – 17.30 plus overtime is available at an increased rate of pay.
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
