We are on the hunt for a dedicated Business Development Manager with a background in the cleaning industry to spearhead our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cleaning business, particularly within commercial office environments, and will be adept at lead generation and client acquisition.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Conducting thorough surveys of potential business sites to assess cleaning needs and capacity.
*Generating leads and converting them into long-term clients.
*Understanding the nuances of cleaning various surfaces, such as carpets and hard floors.
*Developing and implementing strategies for new business acquisition.
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
*Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet and exceed financial targets.
*Collaborating with the operations team to ensure service delivery meets the highest standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in the cleaning industry, particularly in a business development or sales role.
*Strong understanding of commercial cleaning variables and requirements.
*Demonstrated ability to generate leads and drive business growth.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
*Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach to business development.
*Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
