Want to work for a growing, forward-thinking accountancy firm? We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small, friendly team in the Camberley area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with entrepreneurial and high-growth clients, gaining broad exposure while putting your experience to good use.
In this role you will support the preparation of accounts and year-end processes, working closely with Managers and Clients to deliver high-quality financial reporting.
Key responsibilities:
*Prepare statutory and annual accounts from client records
*Assist with year-end files, ensuring complete and accurate supporting schedules
*Draft corporation tax computations
*Perform reconciliations and control account reviews
*Support accounting areas including fixed assets, payroll, accruals, and prepayments
About You
*Experience in public practice (5 years or more ideally)
*Strong understanding of accounts preparation and double entry bookkeeping
*Confident using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage (IRIS desirable)
*Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
*Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently

*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Professional, reliable, and able to build client relationships
