Actio Recruitment are supporting a long-established precision manufacturing business in Romford who are looking to add an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to their production team. This is a hands-on role working with complex components to exacting aerospace-level standards.
The Role
*Producing high-accuracy sheet-metal parts through bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly and deburring
*Working with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium and Inconel, maintaining tight tolerances throughout
*Interpreting engineering drawings
*Setting and operating a range of equipment including fly press, brake press and linisher
*Checking jigs, fixtures and tooling
*Hand-forming prototype panels and components from flat sheet
*Carrying out part of the finishing process deburring, drilling, trimming, filing and grinding as
*Conducting visual checks and dimensional inspection to ensure quality standards are met


What You’ll Need
*Strong background in sheet-metal fabrication within a precision environment
*Confident working with a variety of metals and thin-gauge material
*Able to follow drawings accurately and work with minimal supervision
*Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to producing high-quality parts
