*Contract: Full-time
Join a dynamic secondary school in Plymouth as an SEN Teaching Assistant, where you will support students with complex needs across KS3 and KS4. This role is perfect for a professional with experience in managing and supporting young people with SEN, including ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide targeted support to students with additional needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
*Implement Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) strategies in close collaboration with teaching staff.
*Manage behaviour effectively and positively to foster a constructive learning environment.
*Track and report on student progress to teachers and parents, providing insights into their development and needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience supporting SEN in a secondary school setting.
*Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies tailored to individual student needs.
*Strong organisational and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, staff, and parents.
*Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment.
