Full job descriptionGrafton Banks Finance is looking to recruit for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our busy multi-site practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is confident managing bookkeeping duties alongside personal tax and VAT return preparation.
Key Responsibilities*Managing bookkeeping for a mixed portfolio of clients
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns accurately and on time
*Processing personal tax returns and supporting related compliance work
*Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling accounts
*Liaising with clients across multiple sites and responding to queries professionally
*Using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and bespoke softwares
*Assisting with general practice administration and supporting the wider accounts team
Requirements*Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential
*Strong bookkeeping knowledge with VAT return experience - CIS would be desirable
*Experience processing personal tax returns
*Excellent organisational and time management skills
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
*Strong communication and client service skills
*Familiarity with accounting and tax software packages
