A leading top-tier accountancy practice with an international network is seeking an Audit Senior / Audit Executive to join its growing Thames Valley team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified ACA / ACCA professional looking to develop their career within a highly regarded and people-focused firm offering strong progression, flexible working and exposure to a varied client portfolio.
The role will involve working with a broad range of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporate clients across multiple sectors. You will take responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, supervising junior staff and building strong client relationships.
The firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment with genuine opportunities for long-term progression, professional development and hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
*Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
*Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships
*Identifying audit risks and ensuring assignments are completed efficiently
*Preparing statutory accounts and assisting with corporation tax work
*Liaising with Managers and Partners on client engagements
*Working across a varied client portfolio including SMEs and larger groups
Requirements:
*ACA / ACCA part-qualified or newly qualified
*Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
*Strong audit experience with exposure to planning and completion work
*Good working knowledge of software including Excel, Sage, CaseWare and similar systems
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Commercially aware with a client-focused approach
*Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is advantageous
