We are recruiting for a Production Technician to join a growing manufacturing business in Hailsham.
This is a hands-on Production Technician role working within a production and manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support machinery operation, equipment set-up, cleaning, maintenance and general production duties.


The Production Technician role would suit someone with previous manufacturing, production, factory, assembly or machine operating experience who is looking to develop new skills within a technical environment.
Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities


*Support day-to-day production activities
*Operate and monitor machinery and equipment
*Carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks
*Set up and run production equipment
*Follow health and safety procedures
*Maintain a clean and organised workspace
*Work closely with the wider production team


Requirements
*Previous manufacturing, factory or production experience
*Good practical and mechanical ability
*Reliable and hard-working attitude
*Comfortable working in an industrial environment
*Good communication skills
*Full driving licence preferred
*Basic computer skills.


Desirable Experience
*Machine operating experience
*Forklift licence
*Maintenance experience
*Experience working with production equipment
