Maths Teacher (Permanent)

Start Date: September 2026
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Reading from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the potential for KS5 depending on experience), within a supportive and forward-thinking department committed to high standards and student success.
The Role
*Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge learners of all abilities
*Plan and assess effectively in line with curriculum expectations
*Contribute to the continued development of the Maths department
*Support students in achieving excellent outcomes
*Play an active role in the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
*A commitment to raising achievement and delivering outstanding teaching
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills
*Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
