Description
*Oversee the preparation and review of statutory financial statements and reports.
*Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
*Lead and manage the financial accounting team to deliver timely and accurate outputs.
*Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
*Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
*Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate financial data.
*Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
*Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.
Profile
A successful Head of Financial Accounting should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
*Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.
*Proven leadership abilities to manage and motivate a finance team effectively.
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
*Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
