A leading international professional services organisation is looking to appoint a Commercial Legal Counsel to support a fast-growing business services division. This is a high-impact, business-facing role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to enable growth while ensuring legal and regulatory risks are effectively managed.

Description


You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, supporting the negotiation and delivery of complex client engagements.
Key responsibilities include:
*Advising on, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, framework agreements, and strategic partnerships
*Supporting client-facing teams with contract negotiations and legal queries, including engagement with client legal and procurement functions
*Partnering with internal stakeholders across risk, finance and operations to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives
*Providing pragmatic, commercially focused guidance on risk management and regulatory requirements
*Supporting the development and delivery of legal training to enhance contract awareness across the business
*Reviewing and improving contract templates, policies and processes
*Advising on supplier and technology-related agreements, including SaaS and professional services contracts


Profile


Key requirements:
*Qualified solicitor (England & Wales)
*Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, ideally gained within professional services, technology, or a similarly complex environment
*Working knowledge of UK data protection legislation (UK GDPR)
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
*Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities independently
