We’re looking for a Lecturer – Animal Welfare & Management to help our department maintain its high standards and deliver exceptional learning experiences, covering Maternity leave on a 0.8 FTE Contract.
In this role, you’ll:
Deliver engaging Animal Welfare courses
Participate in curriculum development to meet industry demands
Tutor and manage student groups
Lead practical demonstrations and hands-on activities
Salary: £22,444.80 - £27,593.60 per annum
Location: Northamptonshire
What we’re looking for:
Broad knowledge and industry experience with a variety of animals (small mammals, exotics, large animals)
Strong husbandry skills
BSc or equivalent in Animal Science or related subject
Willingness to work towards a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education)
GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English & Maths
Commitment to ongoing CPD
Previous experience working with young people is an advantage, but not essential.
