Full job description£36,000 per annum | Monday–Friday | 9:00am–5:00pm | Office based in Cambridge
The Sales Progressor plays a key role in managing property sales from reservation through to exchange of contracts and completion, ensuring transactions progress efficiently, within required timescales, and with a strong focus on customer service and commercial outcomes.
This role involves coordinating multiple parties across the sales and legal process, helping to ensure clear communication, timely progression, and a smooth customer journey from reservation to move-in. The Sales Progressor also provides administrative support to senior members of the sales team as required.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the progression of sales from reservation through to exchange of contracts and completion, working to agreed timescales
*Maintain regular communication between solicitors, customers, lenders, brokers, and estate agents to ensure all stakeholders are fully informed
*Monitor the sales pipeline and proactively identify and resolve issues that may delay exchange or completion
*Act as an additional point of contact for customers, providing guidance through the legal and administrative stages of the process
*Support customers with clear communication, particularly those less familiar with conveyancing procedures and terminology
*Ensure all customers receive a consistently high level of service throughout the sales process
*Resolve routine or minor queries to support the smooth running of the legal process
*Ensure Sales Advisors provide accurate and regular updates, offering support where needed
*Produce weekly progress reports for senior management or as required
*Undertake any additional duties reasonably required in line with the nature of the role
Skills:
*Experience within residential property sales or conveyancing is desirable
*Experience in a target-driven, fast paced environment
*Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across multiple stakeholders
*Proactive, organised, and able to manage a busy pipeline effectively
*Patient, resilient, and able to handle complex sales chains
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
