Full job descriptionMy Local Authority client in Devon is looking to appoint a talented Children’s Transformation Programme Manager on a Contract basis.


The role will pull together multiple workstreams to help support children and families in Plymouth that are need crisis support and potentially residential care.


About the role:
Based in Devon (hybrid):
*Lead a complex programme of transformation, with focus on Children in residential care, matching them to foster families.
*Improve and develop the service to better support foster carers and enable them to take on children with specialist needs.
*Scope and build Council-run care homes in the city to keep children near their families and support networks.
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
*Extensive experience in Children’s transformation, in a Local Authority context.
*Excellent understanding of fostering and children’s residential services.
*Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.
*Demonstrable experience in delivering value for money and cost-savings.
What’s on offer:
*Salary: £826 per day, inside IR35
*Hybrid Working (predominantly on site)
*Contract type: Contract
*Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
