Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Stocksbridge to recruit an Inventory Controller to join their supply chain team.
This role is suited to an organised and detail-oriented individual with previous inventory or stock control experience within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production requirements, and ensuring efficient inventory processes across the site.
Key Responsibilities*Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials and finished goods
*Carry out cycle counts and investigate stock discrepancies
*Reconcile stock levels and support inventory reporting
*Work closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability
*Monitor stock movements and identify potential shortages or excess stock
*Update and maintain ERP/MRP system data accurately
*Support continuous improvement activities within inventory control processes
Requirements*Previous experience in an Inventory Controller, Stock Controller, or Materials Controller position
*Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
*Good working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
*Able to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
*Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments
The Package*Salary of £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience
