A well-respected, progressive company in central Norwich are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to support the Financial Controller.
They are looking for a Graduate in Accountancy & Finance, Economics, Maths, or Business who is looking to study ACCA or CIMA.

This is a newly created role offering structured development and broad exposure across Financial Control, FP&A, and Finance Operations.

The role:
*Assisting with month-end journals, reconciliations, and management accounts tasks
*Drafting reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders
*Preparing VAT working papers
*Supporting audit deliverables and first-line audit queries
*Maintaining process and control documentation
*Supporting the budgeting and quarterly reforecast cycle
*Assist with the production of KPI and dashboard reporting
*Running ad-hoc analysis across revenue, cost, and headcount
*Ensuring data accuracy within FP&A models
*Daily bank postings, invoicing, and credit control
*Purchase ledger processing and supplier onboarding check
*Payment run preparation and expense compliance
*Monthly reconciliations between finance and CRM systems
The person:
*A recent graduate, who is looking to study ACCA/CIMA>
*Strong IT skills, in particular a good working knowledge of Excel.
*A confident communicator and effective team player.
*Ambitious.
