Recruit UK is working with a growing financial planning business seeking an Office Manager to lead and develop their back-office teams.
This is a people-focused leadership role overseeing administration and paraplanning, ensuring workloads are managed effectively, service standards are met, and the office runs smoothly day to day.
Key responsibilities:
*Line management of administration and paraplanning teams
*Managing workloads, team performance, and MI reporting
*Conducting appraisals, PDPs, 1-2-1s, and performance management
*Managing annual leave, sickness, and return-to-work meetings
*Overseeing onboarding and offboarding
*Ensuring SLAs are consistently met
*Working closely with the management team to improve processes and efficiency
*Acting as a key point of contact for operational queries
*Promoting a positive and collaborative team culture
Additional responsibilities may include:
*Office management
*Health & safety oversight
*Software and systems management
*Audit oversight
*Supporting wider operational projects
About you:
*Experience managing teams within financial services
*Strong people leadership skills
*Background in administration, paraplanning, or operations
*Organised, client-focused, and commercially aware
*Positive mindset with strong decision-making ability
This could suit either an experienced Office Manager or someone ready to step up from a senior support or operational management role.
