Description
*Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
*Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by compiling and analysing financial data.
*Process accruals, prepayments, and journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
*Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
*Provide variance analysis and commentary to support decision-making.
*Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
*Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects as required.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
*A background in accounting or finance, with relevant qualifications or certifications.
*Experience in assisting with management accounts and financial reporting.
*AAT-qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA is a bonus.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
*The ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
*Knowledge of accounting principles and practices within the business services industry.
Job Offer
