The buyer role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to step into a more influential, business-critical role to make an impact. Day to day the buyer will:
*Act as a central link between estimating and operations
*Support procurement across the full project lifecycle
*Manage supplier relationships
*Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities
*Negotiate pricing agreements and supplier rebates
*Produce procurement analysis and reporting to support decision-making
*Support estimators with pricing insight and alternative sourcing options
*Assist in improving logistics

The successful buyer will be have:
*Background in buying or procurement (ideally within construction)
*Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
*Naturally curious – keen to understand materials, processes, and project requirements
*Confident challenging existing approaches and driving improvements
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage suppliers and internal stakeholders
*Commercially aware with a focus on cost control and optimisation
