Hales Group are recruiting for an experienced and dependable Warehouse Team Leader to join our client’s busy operation in Beccles. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, combining day-to-day warehouse duties with supervisory responsibility providing cover for the Goods In function.

Key Responsibilities*Safely unload incoming deliveries, checking goods against documentation and reporting discrepancies or damages.
*Store products accurately in designated locations, ensuring correct labelling, scanning, and organisation.
*Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently and accurately for dispatch.
*Carry out stock control tasks using warehouse systems and handheld scanners.
*Operate warehouse equipment including Counterbalance, Reach, VNA trucks and Power Pallet Trucks (training available where required).
*Provide support and operational cover for the Goods In Manager, including coordinating deliveries and workload planning.
*Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to all health & safety procedures.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Requirements*Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
*Forklift licences (VNA, Reach, Counterbalance, PPT) are desirable but not essential.
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
*Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
*Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.

*Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
*Pay: £14.06 per hour
*Contract: Full-time, Permanent
