Remote – UK based – 6 month contract

£700–£800/day Inside IR35 | £750–£850/day Outside IR35


We’re looking for an experienced AWS Technical Architect to support a large-scale cloud transformation programme delivering secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade AWS platforms.
This is a hands-on architecture role working closely with CloudOps, DevOps, engineering teams, and customer stakeholders to design and deliver secure AWS solutions across highly regulated environments.


Key Responsibilities
* Design secure, scalable, and resilient AWS architectures
* Lead AWS Landing Zone and Control Tower implementations
* Drive Terraform Infrastructure as Code and DevOps automation
* Design AWS networking solutions including Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, and hybrid connectivity
* Implement AWS security best practices across IAM, encryption, and compliance
* Support cloud migration, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational excellence
* Provide technical leadership across engineering and operations teams

Required Experience
* Proven AWS Technical Architect / Cloud Architect experience
* Strong AWS infrastructure, networking, and security knowledge
* Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise
* Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and Landing Zones
* CI/CD experience using tools such as GitHub Actions
* Knowledge of OAuth2, SAML2.0, and OIDC
* Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
