Location: Wembley
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term
Function: Finance / Commercial

Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a natural curiosity that drives you to dig beneath the surface? We are looking for an excellent Credit Controller to join this dynamic FMCG business. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys uncovering inconsistencies, resolving financial puzzles, and ensuring accuracy across high-volume rebate and incentive programs.
What You’ll Do:
*Take full ownership of customer rebate programs, from setup to reconciliation and final settlement.
*Examine historical payments and accounts to detect over-payments, duplicates, or discrepancies.
*Maintain meticulous records and ensure all rebate activity is fully compliant with contracts, policies, and audit requirements.
*Work closely with Sales, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to address queries, clarify agreements, and resolve disputes efficiently.
*Produce clear, actionable reporting for finance and commercial teams to support decision-making.
*Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system upgrades to streamline rebate management.
Who You Are:
*Exceptionally detail-oriented credit control professional with a mindset geared towards investigation and problem-solving.
*Experienced in rebate accounting, trade spend management, or promotional finance within FMCG or a fast-moving commercial environment.
*Confident handling large datasets, with strong Excel and ERP system skills (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
*Proactive in identifying errors and discrepancies, and skilled at implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
*A strong communicator, able to collaborate with finance and non-finance teams alike.
