If so, an established manufacturing business based in Derby is looking to appoint an Operations Director to lead site operations and support continued business growth on a fixed term contract basis.

Monday to Friday (early finish Friday)

Operations Director – Key Responsibilities:
*Drive operational performance through effective management of OTIF delivery, P&L accountability, and continuous improvement across SQCDP metrics.
*Responsible for operational and financial performance across the site
*Lead budget planning activities aligned with the wider company strategy
*Oversee operational activities and ensure key business metrics are achieved
*Plan and monitor day-to-day business operations within a fast-paced production environment
*Drive continuous improvement activities across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP)
*Ensure compliance with ISO 5001 / ISO 9001 standards and industry regulations
Essential Experience / Attributes:
*Proven experience in an Operations Manager / Operations Director position within manufacturing
*Experience working around machining, fabrication or sheet metal processes would be highly advantageous
*Strong experience around OTIF delivery and P&L
