Full job descriptionJust Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing business within the FMCG sector as they look to recruit a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their expanding team on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis.

Monday - Friday, weekly rotating shift pattern.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring customer expectations and site standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects or failures
Ensuring stock rotation is completed in line with site procedures
Reporting damaged goods or equipment promptly
Completing pre-loading vehicle inspections
Loading vehicles carefully to prevent product damage
Maintaining effective communication with hauliers and management
Following escalation procedures for any operational issues or non-compliance
Ensuring all visitors and personnel adhere to site HSE procedures
Ensuring all dispatched products are accompanied by the correct documentation
Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times

Skills & Experience Required

Previous warehouse experience is essential
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential
Full UK driving licence is essential
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
