Monday to Thursday – 4:00PM to 4:00AM

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a busy operation based in Barnsley
on a permanent night shift.
Reporting to the Shift Manager / Yard Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the movement and loading of steel products within the yard environment, ensuring operations run safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
*Loading steel products onto trucks
*Operating FLT equipment within the yard
*Supporting general yard operations
*Assisting with stock movement and organisation
*Working safely within a fast-paced industrial environment
Requirements:
*Previous FLT experience is essential (licence not required)
*Overhead Crane experience is essential
*Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or steel environment would be advantageous
*Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
*Reliable with a strong work ethic and ability to work nights
