Full job descriptionKCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this exciting business on the outskirts of Newcastle in their search for a Management Accountant. This is a standalone role where you will get heavily involved in the financial control and profitability of the business. Your duties will be as follows:
*Supporting the financial management of multiple projects and ensuring accurate reporting
*Maintaining financial control, managing cash flow, and supporting project profitability
*Production of monthly management accounts
*Supporting financial year-end processes, including P11Ds and audit preparation
*Processing and managing business overheads such as premises rent and insurance
*Preparation and submission of VAT returns
*Supporting monthly applications for payment and providing financial data to management
*Preparing cash flow forecasts in line with payment schedules
*Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register
*Completing PAYE submissions and payments to HMRC
*Processing payroll for monthly staff
*Reconciling supplier statements and managing supplier payment runs
You will have worked in a similar role previously and have strong IT skills, ideally in Excel and Sage. Knowledge of WIP, CVR and project based financial reporting would be advantageous.
