Full job descriptionKey Responsibilities*Lead and manage all engineering operations across the critical banking site.
*Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, health & safety legislation, and company procedures.
*Manage and support a team of 8 shift engineers and 1 day engineer, including performance management, development, and training.
*Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and emergency response activities.
*Maintain uptime and resilience of critical electrical infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, LV/HV systems, and associated critical plant.
*Act as the primary technical escalation point for all electrical and critical systems issues.
*Develop strong working relationships with the client and attend regular operational and performance meetings.
*Manage subcontractors and specialist service providers to ensure compliance and performance standards are achieved.
*Review and manage permits to work, RAMS, and isolation procedures.
*Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation through CAFM systems.
