Full job descriptionElevation Recruitment Group are supporting a growing and innovative manufacturing business in their search for a Production Engineer to join their engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys improving manufacturing processes, solving shop floor challenges, and supporting the introduction of new products into production. The business has a number of exciting projects and product launches planned, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to make a real impact.
Key responsibilities for the Production Engineer:
*Lead and support manufacturing and process improvement projects
*Troubleshoot production and quality issues across the shop floor
*Support new product introduction activities and manufacturing readiness
*Improve manufacturing efficiency, workflow, and process reliability
*Create and maintain technical and manufacturing documentation
*Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
*Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
The successful Production Engineer will have:
*Previous experience within a Production, Manufacturing, Process, or Continuous Improvement Engineering role
*A practical, hands-on approach to engineering and problem solving
*3D CAD experience
*Experience supporting process improvements and lean manufacturing activities
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
*Assembly, electronics, or manufacturing technology environments
*ERP system exposure
*SOP/work instruction creation
*Experience within regulated manufacturing environments
