Salary: £1,900 - £2,400 per month
Start Date: Immediate / September
Contract: Full-time
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hackney is seeking a qualified EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children within a nurturing Nursery or Reception setting, helping pupils develop key early learning, communication, and social skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
The school has a strong Early Years provision, supportive leadership team, and a collaborative staff culture focused on helping every child thrive.
Key Responsibilities*Support teaching and learning within EYFS

*Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions

*Support phonics, early reading, and numeracy development

*Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development

*Assist with classroom activities and daily routines

*Work closely with the EYFS team and parents where required

RequirementsEssential:
*Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification or equivalent

*Experience working within an EYFS setting

*Good understanding of the EYFS framework

*GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)

Desirable:
*Experience within a primary school setting

*Knowledge of phonics and early interventions

*Strong communication and behaviour management skills
