Location: Burnley
We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to join our team from September 2026. This is a full-time post at a well-established, two-form entry primary school in Burnley with a strong reputation in the local area.
Our school benefits from good facilities and a positive, supportive atmosphere. Pupils here enjoy coming to school and have a genuinely positive attitude towards their learning, which makes teaching both rewarding and enjoyable.
We are keen to hear from teachers who are keen to make a difference in the classroom and who are committed to helping children achieve their best. You will be joining a friendly staff team where planning is shared across the year group, and there is a strong sense of working together.
The role will involve:*Teaching a Key Stage 2 class
*Planning and delivering lessons that engage and challenge pupils
*Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet pupils’ needs
*Working closely with your parallel class teacher and wider team
*Contributing to the wider life of the school
We are looking for someone who:*Has Qualified Teacher Status
*Has high expectations of pupils’ learning and behaviour
*Builds positive relationships with children and colleagues
*Is organised, reliable and willing to get involved in school life
*Brings energy and a positive approach to the classroom
This role would suit both experienced teachers and those at an earlier stage in their career.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
