Location: Dartford
Salary: £24.40 per hour + Overtime Available
Join a busy workshop supporting essential equipment for construction and maintenance operations. You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team focused on safety, quality and keeping plant running efficiently.
Overview
*Service, repair and maintain heavy plant, machinery and small tools
*Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
*Diagnose faults, source parts and complete effective repairs
*Work independently or within a team
*Complete all maintenance paperwork accurately
*Follow all health & safety procedures and challenge unsafe practices
*Support general workshop tasks and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
Essential
*Heavy plant experience (mechanical, electrical & hydraulic)
*Diagnostic skills (fault finding & repair)
*Mig welding/fabrication ability
*Strong communication & teamwork
*Self-motivated with good attention to detail
*Able to work under pressure
*Full UK driving licence
Desirable
*CSCS Card
*City & Guilds (Levels 1-3)
*Experience with cranes or white-lining equipment
Salary & Benefits
*£24.40 per hour

*Monday - Friday
*45 hour weekly rotating shifts:
*Week 1: 06:00-16:00
*Week 2: 07:00-17:00
*Overtime available
*Training & development opportunities
*Travel to other sites as required
