Full job descriptionFURNITURE PAINT SPRAYER – SWINDON, WILTSHIRE
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Furniture Paint Sprayer to join our well-established client based in Swindon, Wiltshire on a full-time permanent basis.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Spray Painter, Wood Finisher, Furniture Finisher, Paint Sprayer or Production Operative.
Shifts
• Monday – Thursday: 08:30am – 04:30pm
• Friday: 08:30am – 12:00pm
Rates of Pay
• £13.00 – £13.70 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Furniture Paint Sprayer, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with the day-to-day spraying of customised and bespoke furniture components and assemblies
• Operating within departmental spray booths safely and efficiently
• Completing all work tasks within scheduled times and to required quality standards
• Supporting continuous improvement within quality and departmental performance
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, conduct, and professionalism
• Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times
• Cleaning and maintaining spray equipment, tools, machinery, and production areas daily
• Reporting defects, faults, quality concerns, or unsafe conditions promptly
• Providing support to additional departments when required
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Furniture Paint Sprayer, you will need:
• Previous experience within wood finishing or water-based paint spraying would be highly desirable
• Knowledge of finishing practices including sanding, caulking, and decorating
• Understanding of air and water filtration of spray waste material
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
• Flexible and adaptable approach within a fast-moving environment
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
