Location: Exeter, Devon
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour, Temporary contract
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 or Tuesday to Saturday, 08:00–17:00
gap personnel are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives and Product Decontamination Operatives on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation in Exeter. These roles offer a great opportunity to join a supportive team within an essential healthcare service.
Duties
*Coordinate equipment orders for delivery, installation, and collection.
*Pick, check and prepare stock accurately.
*Identify and report any order or stock discrepancies.
*Support technicians with selecting and recording stock.
*Handle equipment used by individuals with different needs and vulnerabilities.
*Receive and inspect returned medical equipment.
*Clean and disinfect items such as beds, mattresses, and mobility aids to infection control standards.
*Use approved cleaning products and follow safety procedures.
*Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant.
*Report faults or damage to the relevant team
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience in a busy warehouse or logistics environment.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*IT literate and able to learn new systems.
*Stock control experience (advantageous but not essential)
*Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards (training provided).
*Good attention to detail and team-focused attitude.
