Full job descriptionA highly regarded local organisation is seeking a commercially minded, hands-on Head of Finance based in Ipswich.


The role combines strategic financial oversight with day-to-day operational management, as well leading the finance function.


Key Responsibilities
*Lead all day-to-day finance operations
*Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting
*Oversee payroll, VAT and statutory compliance
*Support the leadership team with financial planning and commercial insight
*Manage financial controls, reporting, and audit processes
*Drive improvements to systems and processes
*Managing transactional finance duties


Key skills
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
*Previous senior finance experience
*Hands-on, organised, and commercially aware
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Able to operate both strategically and operationally
