Harlow, Essex – Office-based
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Inventory & Demand Planner to join a successful global business operating across manufacturing, distribution, retail, wholesale, e-commerce, and DTC channels. This is a key role within the supply chain team, responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels through accurate forecasting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, trends, and business inputs
*Analyse forecast vs actual performance and identify areas for improvement
*Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance availability and working capital
*Collaborate with internal teams, including commercial, finance, operations, and supply chain
*Identify risks, stock issues, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations
*Support the continuous improvement of planning processes and reporting
What we’re looking for:
*Proven experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or supply chain planning
*Strong Excel skills (ability to manage and interpret large datasets essential)
*Experience working with ERP or planning systems (e.g. SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics) preferred
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*Strong organisational and stakeholder management abilities
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment
*Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
*Able to demonstrate initiative and ownership
*Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business impact
*Curious, detail-oriented, and able to challenge processes
Desirable Skills
*Experience working in multi-channel or global operations
*Exposure to manufacturing, retail, or distribution environments
*Experience with Forecasting & BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
