Full job descriptionHGV Class 1 Drivers Required – Dagenham, Essex (RM9)
WPRG LTD are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers for a fantastic temp to perm opportunity based in Dagenham, Essex.
We are especially looking for drivers available to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday shifts between 18:00 and 03:00.
The Role
*Store deliveries across the South of England
*Trunking work
*Long-distance driving
*No handball involved
*Average 12-hour shifts
*Start times available between 18:00 – 03:00
*Weekend availability is essential
Pay Rates ( For the first 12 weeks while on agency)


Option 1 – PAYE (Including Holiday Pay)
*Weekdays: £19.95 per hour
*Saturday: £22.53 per hour
*Sunday: £23.81 per hour
*Bank Holiday: £28.95 per hour


Option 2 – PAYE (Holiday Pay Accrued)
*Weekdays: £17.81 per hour
*Saturday: £20.11 per hour
*Sunday: £21.25 per hour
*Bank Holiday: £25.84 per hour


Minimum 9 hours guaranteed pay per shift


Successful candidates will complete a 12-week agency period before transferring onto a permanent contract with an annual salary of £43,166.


Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
*Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
*Hold a valid CPC card
*Hold a Digital Tachograph card
*Have no more than 6 penalty points (for insurance purposes)
*Have at least 6 months Class 1 driving experience
*Be able to complete an onsite assessment (theory test and short drive)
*Have a good level of English and present professionally
