South London | £25 per hour | 3 months, ongoing
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join a leading University delivering critical estates services.
Working within the Estates & Facilities team, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting essential electrical infrastructure, especially fluorescent lighting.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out maintenance, fault finding and installation on electrical systems including power, fluorescent lighting, fire alarms and nurse call systems
*Diagnose and repair faults in line with BS7671 Wiring Regulations
*Support PPM and reactive maintenance programmes across the estate
*Contribute to installation projects and minor works
*Maintain accurate records and support compliance across estates systems
*Work collaboratively with multi-skilled trades teams
Requirements
*Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
*Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant and equipment
*Knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe systems of work
*Ability to work independently
